Why does SWEC use an automated phone system?

SWEC's 800-262-0326 phone number can handle an unlimited number of phone calls at any time. Thus, our automated outage reporting system allows calls to be taken faster and more effectively. When an outage is reported, the system automatically populates your outage to our mapping software and our dispatchers are able to route service crews in the most effective and efficient ways possible.

In order for this system to operate efficiently, it is important the cooperative has your correct phone number on file. To ensure your account information is up to date, login to the Member Service Portal or contact any SWEC office.
